MIAMI OR BUST!

Starting April 19 and ending April 21, I'll be walking from Boca Raton to Miami with 2,500 other people for the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day 60 Mile Walk. Just think, when you're getting ready for work or school on Friday, April 19, I'll be taking the first step of my long journey. While you're eating your eggs and bacon and enjoying a nice cup of joe on Saturday, I'll probably be on Mile 4 or 5 for the day (depending on how early you wake up). Hopefully by the time you're sitting down for dinner on Saturday, I'll be pitching my tent after my second 20 mile day. And when you're relaxing at home on Sunday, remember me - still walking...walking...walking to my final destination.

You can get involved in this great event without exerting that much physical effort. Here's the deal - the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day has asked that I commit to raising $1,900 in contributions. I've started my contribution to the piggy bank, but I need your help in filling it up. Please dig into those pockts as deep as you can and help to find a cure for this terrible disease. I'm sure you've probably encountered at least one person who's been affected by breast cancer. Wouldn't it be great it we could stop it from affecting someone else you know???
